America’s enemies are now becoming acquainted with the latest asset in our national security tool box. It is the work product of a cyber-intelligence operation classified top secret under code name “Hard Target”.

Governments all around the globe including the United States, have adapted to the modern cyber-security environment by enhancing capabilities, however the Hard Target program is designed to be a truly unique enhancement to our cyber-security arsenal. These enhancements include field personnel in the form of special agents with elite combat and intelligence gathering training equal to special-forces delta training with cyber-war readiness enhancement training.

Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and South America are all vulnerable to massive cyber intrusions. We are vulnerable to each, most accurately, thus the cyber component of modern warfare presents emerging challenges to the special agents on deployment.

North America is especially vulnerable, it is both an attractive target for cyber-attack and it is also a dangerous cyber-environment in its own right, quite capable of projecting devastating destructive cyber power outward. Within this unique security environment the United States developed the Hard Target program to tactically weaken the enemies resolve through operations that would humiliate and degrade the enemy psychologically, exposing them to cyber incursions on the part of our intelligence operatives.

The idea was that the Hard Target agents would soften up enemy forces, compounding their defeats and loses on the battlefield. How something so insane made its way into a mission is astounding but what’s more, the whole thing was actually a success. The Hard Target program has been active for five years now and it has proven itself in keeping the country safe. But recent events, including the mission deaths of several special agents have led to the conclusion that there is a traitor in the national security department. Once more all signs point to Special Agent 6.
